Welcome to the world of music, imagination and psychotherapy. Here
you will find useful information about trainings in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM).
The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) makes use of the
enormous potential of music to help clients handling difficult life
situations. Music evokes emotional and physiological responses. It
can have a very powerful effect on us in different moments of
life. Music is like a key that opens our psyche and facilitates
access to our innermost experiences and feelings.
The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a therapeutic
technique using selections of classical and contemporary music and a
trained facilitator to engage the client in vivid personal
imagery. By using specially sequenced music, the client is guided to
approach and work through personal life issues. This can lead to
emotional release, insights, and the stimulation of creative and
spiritual impulses.
Institut Imago, located in Munich, Germany,
is offering GIM trainings for professionals both within Germany and
worldwide. Presently, GIM trainings are taking place in Germany,
Austria, and South Africa. The founder of Institut Imago,
Prof. Dr. Gina Kaestele, teaches in German, English, Spanish, and
French. If you are interested in setting up GIM trainings in your
home country, please contact me.
